Dr. Gross has more than 20 years of experience in scientific computation and High-Performance Computing. Before joining CICESE four years ago, he worked for five years at the UK Met Office in Dynamics Research, dynamical core development. He did his Post Doc for five years at the Universidad de Cambridge and received his Ph.D. from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. He has currently more than 50 published articles, with more than 450 citations.
His current interest revolves around the numerical simulation of atmospheric and coastal flows, dynamical core development, physics-dynamics coupling and wind and ocean renewable energy.
